Although I had majored in music at UCLA, I had never played an instrument. I decided to seriously undertake the task of learning to play the classical guitar. Fast forward, and the experience has been a richly rewarding one. I realize that learning to play a musical instrument is a never ending adventure and challenge. I recommend it to everybody.

I still practice just about every day and am humbled by the incredible skill and virtuosity that I see on YouTube from so many truly great players.
